The new federal Jobs and Growth Fund provides $700 million to support the transition to a green economy, foster an inclusive recovery, enhance competitiveness, and create jobs as Canada works to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding includes up to $70 million for businesses created after January 2020 that meet eligibility criteria. The fund will be administered by Canada’s regional development agencies. In southern Ontario, FedDev Ontario is investing $224 million. The application period is now open.
