As the federal government is developing a national hydrogen strategy, the Ontario government is looking into a provincial response that leverages Ontario’s economic strengths. In collaboration with the Hydrogen Business Council, OCTIA has recently submitted a proposal for a provincial hydrogen strategy to Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. While focused on hydrogen, the proposal highlights the importance of other alternative fuels as well as EVs in the solution mix to decarbonize our economy.
